Tim Hendricks produced the album independently over a multi-year period (2023–2026), primarily in his home studio in Zhengzhou, China. As a multi-instrumentalist and hands-on producer, he wrote, performed, recorded, and oversaw the bulk of the tracking and creative decisions himself.
He collaborated remotely with James A. Tobin, based in Bournemouth, United Kingdom. The pair exchanged files via Dropbox, with Tobin contributing parts that Hendricks integrated into the sessions. Hendricks then handled the mixing and final preparation stages.
For the mastering/printing stage, Hendricks used Access Analog, a remote cloud-based service with robotic control of real industry-standard analog hardware, associated with facilities including Nashville. Audio was streamed to the remote system, processed through physical outboard gear controlled robotically in real time (or near-real time), returned with a slight delay, saved to a server, and then imported back into Logic Pro for final integration and completion.
This hybrid workflow — local home-studio tracking and mixing in Zhengzhou, combined with remote contributions from the UK and analog hardware processing via Access Analog — allowed full creative control while incorporating external collaboration and professional analog processing tools.
The result is the self-contained, polished 12-track album, released on 1 August 2026 under the Tim Hendricks Project.
