Deep in the dark alleyways of Berlin, techno artist Luca Draccar is in the midst of releasing his latest EP ‘Supreme Emptiness.’ The 4-track EP explores the fascination of emptiness, attracted by its void and the need to fill it.
‘Supreme Emptiness’ comes in the form of futuristic sonics, with sequencing loops, electronic drum beats, and a colourful palette of vocal effects. Perhaps for the first time, Draccar has created a soundscape sprinkled with euphoria, without taking away from his trademark dark, urban sound. Angelic backing vocals add atmospheric ambience, alongside vibrant piano melodies and reverberating guitars, which drift in the distance, as industrial drum patterns and intense synthesizers drive each track. The reservoir of
instrumentation provides infinite possibilities that lend themselves to ‘Supreme Emptiness.’
Studying multimedia, design, and music while growing up in Italy, Luca Dracar found himself combining technology and music. The result is a kaleidoscopic concoction of techno genres which Draccar produces himself in Berlin.
