‘OMG Collective’ return after Top 30 Chart success with the gloriously new and soulful ‘The Weekend’

Following their Top 30 U.K club chart success, OMG Collective look set to bring the heat in 2020 with their brand new single ‘The Weekend’.

Having already introduced themselves by way of their first two offerings – the neo-soul-tinged gem ‘Part of Me’ and the anthemic ‘No More’, the groovy outfit return to bring you a nostalgic, feel-good homage to everyone’s favourite part of the week.

‘The Weekend’ is a blissful marriage of Motown-styled drums, funky guitars, soulful harmonies and an infectious refrain that result in the feeling of a ‘New Classic’.

Their works have been championed by the likes of broadcasting supremo Eddie Gordon (BBC 6/Cafe Del Mar/King of Spins) and have teased the airwaves overseas, with the likes of Kiss FM Australia adding their latest release to their primetime playlists.

Their second single – funk-inspired, politically charged ‘No More’ – stormed into Music Week’s UK Commercial Club Pop Chart Top 30 back in November.

With their debut album “Delusion of Grandeur” arriving in the summer of 2020, OMG Collective are gearing up to release more of their trademark sounds that have captured hearts and transformed dance floors nationwide, and across the pond.

Poised for a February arrival, the hard-hitting house remix will follow the original release – co-produced by long-term collaborator Michael J McEvoy.

‘The Weekend’ is already setting U.K Club dancefloors on fire every weekend as it gets support from DJ’s at venues like Ministry of Sound and Oceana.
